I'm browsing through your amazing gallery and I'm trying grasp how you manage to make views and places I think ordinary (I live in Helsinkin myself) look so captivating, lively and just interesting. It's something I'd like to learn to see - the beauty in ordinary or normal. Your compositions are simply great. Any tips?
Beautiful! London had a major river/canal like this three hundred years ago - the River Fleet, which branched off the Thames where Blackfriars Bridge now stands (there is a wonderful picture by Canaletto of it).
oh yeah. California is amazing. If I could afford to I would live there. Much better music scene there too than Texas. Although most of my favorite bands are European, so really Europe's music scene is better anyways.
Wow, this is such a coincidence! My friend, Karlee, actually just arrived in Helsinki. She's going to be living in Turku for a year as an exchange student. This photograph is just gorgeous! It reminds me of the canals in Valencia. The exposure and colors in this is just amazing! Are those real birds on the lamps? Or are they part of the lamp?
sidenote: I'm also an exchange student and I'll be going to Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brasil.
I totally fav bombed your gallery and thank you for the favorite on Tranquilo! I really appreciate it! if you would like to take a look at my other photography, here's my account --->:devKDHphotography:. It's nowhere NEAR as good as yours, but there it is
